Four differences between NAVRATRI and DURGA Pooja
Navratri pooja is celebrated for nine days where as Durga puja is celebrated for ten days.
Navratri ends with a celebration of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. But Durga puja ends with a celebration of the victory of goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura.
Food taken for Navratri should be Vegetarian by avoiding onion and garlic. As of Durga puja preferable food is non – vegetarian.
Navratri is celebrated in South India simultaneously Durga puja is celebrated in East India.
