Sengandhal poonga newly opened park having plenty of things to look at. Plants, trees, paintings and so on.,

Sengandhal poonga is derived from the name of the flower “SENGANDHAL”. It is a state flower of Tamil Nadu.

The park is located at Gopalapuram, Chennai. The area of the sengandhal poonga is 6.3 acres in total.

The entrance ticket for visitors to Sengandhal Poonga is below.

Adult – Rs. 20/-
Children – Rs.10/- Camera – Rs.50/-
For Bike Parking Rs.15/-
For car Rs.40/-

They are allowing to take photo shooting also.

Canteen and Nursery will be set up in the future.

Shell shaped front entrance gives attraction to the park.

You can see “TOPIARY ART” In the park.

What I like most about sengandhal poonga is the “WELCOME” invite designed with the plants with the help of Rods arranged to the specific letter.

And also the plants are trimmed to the shape of the animals using the Topiary artist.

People can also make use of Gym and Amply Theatre which is available in the park.

The restroom is also available in the park.

You can also have a look at the pond, wall paintings at sengandhal poonga.

Sengandhal poonga is still in the making of new things to surprise us more.
