Grow Fenugreek plant in your home with the seeds in your kitchen.
How to sow and harvest fenugreek plant?
You can use the fenugreek [Vendhaiyam] from your kitchen to grow the fenugreek spinach (vendhaiya keerai in tamil) in your home garden.
It won’t occupy more place, so you can grow it in small pots too.
You can make use of this fenugreek spinach to make sambar, kootu, porial, methi dosa and so on…
Soak 2 tbsp fenugreek seeds for a day in fresh water and close the lid.
The next day drain the water and keep the fenugreek seeds to dry little, so that it spreads easily while sow it.
Select the place where to sow to sow fenugreek.
Make the soil even and sow the fenugreek seeds close to each others, to get grip while growing.
Now cover it with one more layer soil, and sprinkle some water to it.
Do water it gently as the stem is thin.
Water the plants daily till the soil gets wet.
With in 8-10 days you can harvest the fenugreek spinach.
